Wayside Plants #2


On my daily walks I am always looking for what I call Wayside Plants. These are the plants that are not intentionally placed, they have placed themselves. They are plants that are usually not welcomed into gardens and yet they persist and survive. I admire their tenacity.

The Majestic Cardoon

The majestic cardoon, apparently highly invasive, has become unwanted in Argentina, California and Australia. I have always been attracted to the renegade.

Cattle Point Trees

It was very windy on my walk today. These trees are permanently windblown,
